Good morning! I've suffered a couple minor setbacks in the quest for getting my book published.
A) A book publishing company that claimed to be "traditional" accepted me into their program. This was a major accomplishment! Until! After hours of researching them, turns out they were about as "vanity" as a publisher can get. The $5,000 upfront fee was a slight giveaway. Then, when he told me I

needed to purchase 2,500 copies of my own book (on top of the $5k fee) in order to get published, I'd heard enough from that cat. It would've been about $10k total before they even put the book on sale!
That said, self-publishing it is! (-;
B) Then, after gearing my self-publishing project toward the crowdfunding beast called Kickstarter, they rejected me! They said the company recently changed their rules/regulations and was heading in a more creative direction than my project. I was really, really looking forward to using Kickstarter. That's ok, I didn't really want to use them anyway! :-D
Which leads us to:
C) Indiegogo! The day has come! I'm kicking off my crowdfunding project (raising funds to get my book published). I've worked hard for it and everything is finally ready. For those that don't know what crowdfunding is:
crowd·fund·ing - ˈkroudˌfəndiNG/ - noun - the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. (Source cited: Google search for "crowdfunding definition")
I'd like to thank my fans for all their support so far. At this point, it's more valuable to me than ever.
Check out my project at http://igg.me/at/highspeedhealth. If you donate, there are four different levels of perks you'll receive, all of which include a free copy of my book via digital download.
Of course you don't have to donate, but if you could share my project throughout your social media circles. I'd be very grateful. I'll continue to share tons of free content on my blog, helping athletic desk jockeys win the battle we're losing against repetitive strain injuries.
Check out (or share) my self-publishing book project on Indiegogo at http://igg.me/at/highspeedhealth.
Thanks in advance!
